    Hi

Mate of mine has a salon and has only noticed recently that his night rate elec isn't working. The ESB timeclock has stopped.
From what I can see, there are two 1.5 T&E's coming from under the meter into the clock.

Is there a separate MCB on the fuseboard that powers the timeclock, or would it be fed directly from the meter?

Trying to establish if the clock is the problem or the power going to it.

    you have to contact esbn

they're not powered from the consumer side

As above, if the timeclock isn't switching over the meter then you need to get ESB Networks out. I wouldn't go messing with it yourself

    Figured.

Just wanted to check that there wasn't an MCB down or something silly like that
