Sounds corny but a set of towels with our names on them, a full set for him and a full set for me. The gift was just soo thoughtful.:D

I only got 3 or 4 gifts and I love gifts I would have been happy if it was all gifts rather than cash.

I use every gift I received, the one which is most prominant is a triple stand alone frame which holds 3 photos under the headings the rings, the couple and the kiss.

My sister who was bridesmaid got us those bride and groom balloons which were in the room when we went in for dinner and keyrings each, ball and chain.

I have also heard of people giving gifts of memory boxes after the wedding which I think is a lovely idea, you can buy specific bridal memory boxes, maybe get copies of pics from friends and make a little album, keep a copy of the invite, the ceremony booklet, anything you can think off and present it to the couple after the wedding.

A personalised cake topper from these guys: http://caketoppersireland.ie/

    Vouchers for restaurants.

We got some really cool cards actually. People went to a lot of trouble and got personalised cards with the wedding date and our names on it, they were great.

An artist friend of mine personalised the place names for us.

Another friend did the caligraphy on my invitations.

Loved both of these presents the best!
