By law, are Specsavers obligated to give me my prescription even if I tell them I'm buying online instead with them?

I haven't used this crowd but I've used zennioptical.com who do similar prices. Perfectly good glasses for next to nothing.

Nice bargain there. Thanks OP. :)
Order came to less than €7!

Yeah, I went to Specsavers before Xmas and asked for eye-test with a print out of the prescription. No problem, they said.
I believe you just have to ask for it.
The test cost only €15. I believe they are still running this offer, ie half-price eye test.

Thanks, do I have to get another eye test before they give it though? I got one about a year ago.

It's probably best to get a new eye-test.
I know there was a slight difference in my prescription since the previous year I did the test.

Also, don't forget to ask them to measure your Pupiliary Distance, the distance between the 2 eyes!

Used these a few times, very good for the price. Delivery takes about 2-3 weeks and one pair the arms are as loose as feck and the glasses keep sliding off my nose! But I will be using them again.

    It is what it's.

I've bought about 5 pairs and two pairs of sunglasses over the last year and a bit. Quality was as good as any pair I ever bought in Specsavers last pair I bought cost just over a tenner!
Standard delivery is slow so be prepared to wait 2-3 weeks.

Huge selection of frames, quality is acceptable. I'd recommend going for the polycarbonate lenses, especially for kids. They are a lot stronger (i.e. resistant to damage) than the standard plastic ones. Also, if you are ordering a few pairs in one order, you will get a small reduction in the shipping charge. Delivery can be slow, as others have said.

Delivery is slow, but yeah, quality is grand. It's worth springing for the scratch resistant lenses, but for a tenner you'll get perfectly decent glasses in some really, really nice frames. I particularly like that I can spend couple of quid for shapes and colours I like, but probably wouldn't spend a few hundred on in case they're a bit too bold.

Yeah, love this website, can't fault them.

I received my order today, so delivery was about 16 days which wasn't too bad at all. :)

Although this particular offer is over, I will be using this website again.
Very happy with the quality of the glasses too.

    Recommended. :D
