list of dog rescues in ireland

Hi guys.
Been thinking about getting a small/medium dog sometime in spring.
I was thinking of buying a british bully, when a mate said i should get a dog from an animal rescue centre.
This way i get the chance to save a dog from a poor life.
Im sure there wont be any bullys in animal rescue centres, but im not fussy.
So can you help me find a few websites in ireland?

I volunteer in Dogs Trust in Finglas Dublin. It's a rehoming centre and a fanatastic place if your looking to adopt a dog.

Contact EGAR, shes a member on here and runs a Bull breed rescue in Galway.

Www.dogsindistress.org/forum have a look at the dogs in fostercare thread for info on all the dogs they have in fostercare at the min some super guys they have a fab black Shepard guy!! I adopted my staffy x from them! Happy hunting and fair play for going the rescue route!!

If you are in cork you could try the Dog Action Welfare Group, DAWG

There have been a good few in rescue recently.....so if you look hard you will find one I recommend to keep an eye on

www.petsireland.invisionzone.com and www.irishanimals.ie for them to come up however rescue or not you need to be prepared for the huge vet bills that come with owning an english bull dog
