Hi. I just moved into a new apartment in Swords and apparantly i have to go with some tv company called sky conway. They can provide me with sky digital but i have to pay sky there normal monthly subscription and then pay this sky conway crowd another monthly subscription for providing me with sky. What i want to know is if there is any way around this and could i go with a different provider as it sickens me to pay sky conway anything.
By the way Sky and sky conway are not affiliated in any way whatsoever.

I've heard that Sky Conway are a joke ... even UPC seem better, at least you'll be saving money by going with them. Double charging?? pffff

Ring UPC and tell them the story, somtimes there's like a monopoly on apartments and you can get stung badly. They (UPC) would know if they can install there.

yes, the aptmt in city centre does the same. 5euros per month.

Op, double check if here's anywhere you could have a dish on your apartment, you'd be surprised where a dish could be placed discreetly,

That's a good idea, I'd love to be able get dish actually in my gf's apartment, at least she could get sky hd then it's a ground floor apartment though, so I'd say it's a no go!

We just got rid of Skyconway from our house recently and got a new Sky install in. Not sure of how it works for apartments.
