Is Beaufort Golf Club Still Open?

    I heard a few weeks ago that Beaufort might be closing down and that the members would not be able to buy the club from the owners. Is this true?

    It'd be a pity, really. I played it last summer, having not done so for about 8 years, and I was very impressed with the improvements made there. Will the members be able to join other clubs locally?

    It's terrible to see members of clubs losing out like this. It reminds me very much of what happened at Harbour Point.

    Still open, was to play there yesterday in a society outing but had to reschedule due to the bad weather. Great course for €25.

    Hi,

    Beaufort Golf Club is very much open for business - under the management of the members. We have taken on new contractors to maintain the course and it looks spectacular. With smashing deals on green fees, and an open competition every Saturday until the end of March 2011 @ €20 per head, we would very much welcome all visitors. And with great deals on membership, you might even think about more regular trips to our fantastic course.
