I don't think anything can compare to walking in on your parents having sex. Looking back on it now i think why the f*ck didn't they just lock the door and save me from years of trauma.

The fire siren from the local chemical plant going off. I thought the nazis were invading.

I still get a chill when I hear it. :o

house demons - if you've ever heard of that idea. was convinced they lived under my bead and danced over me at night - all belt shapes.
i know it sounds a bit mad - but the short time i thought it was real left me afraid of the dark and leather belts for years just cos the belts were the same shape!

I had to sleep in a room with a massive mirror at the end of my bed. For some reason it always scared the crap out of me and thought that monsters could use to to gain access to my room.

Me too! might have something to do with the transformer outside my house getting blown down onto the roof over my window and sparking like mad one night when I was small

Vampire at the window scene from Salem's Lot. I was traumatised.

I was terrified of the hedges in our garden or to be more specific that a hand would come out of it and grab me if I walked too near.

Some TV show where the witch had loads of faces, and could change them.

And going from room to room via the hall with the light off. I'd have to lean out stick my hand around the door and turn the light on before I opened the door fully.

I saw the film ''Fried Green Tomatoes'' when I was 4 or 5 and there was a scene where the KKK burn somebodys house down or something like that, remember having recurring nightmares of the guys in white sheets coming to burn down my gaff for the next few months after that!

Trust me, It's better you walk in on both parents than to walk in on just one.

When I was a kid another kid scarred me. She bit me.

The scar is on my finger.

I also scarred myself with a sharp-ass knife once. Not in an "emo" way, in a "cutting vegetables and the knife slipped" way.
