ipod touch won't sync 'skip count' to itunes

hi folks! here is my setup itunes 10.1 ipod firmware 4.2.1 (8C148) windows 7 when i play music on this ipod and then sync it with itunes, the play count for songs is updated ok but the skip count is never updated. (i know you need to skip between 2-20 seconds). this is messing up my smart playlists to no end! can anyone…

hi folks!

a firmware downgrade to 4.1 fixed this. must be a bug in 4.2.1
