Calor LPG - price per cubic metre?

    Hi all,

    How many of you out there use Calor LPG for your heating? How much are you paying?

    I live in an apartment complex - All the apts have Calor gas. I believe each apt is individually metered from one bulk tank. So... I've been trying to find out how much a unit (cubic metre) on average it costs, as I suspect it varies widely (depending on where you live/backhander deals with property managers, etc, etc) :confused:.

    Anyhoo... bill arrives today for 23rd Nov to 26th of Jan (64 days). The cost €440.88!!!

    We used 148 cubic meters @ €2.4209/M^3 = €358.29
    Daily Meter charge = €0.2629 x 64 = €16.83
    Carbon Tax = €0.089 x 148 = €13.32

    Add VAT @ 13.5% and you get the grand total of €440.88. ... I am pissed!

    Basically, I am asking how much everyone else is paying per cubic metre of LPG? I ask this because there doesn't seem to be standardised price... Having seached the subject, it appears that the tarrif varies widely [askaboutmoney.com] .

    Any thoughts/responses appreciated.

    You are paying around 8-9 cents per kWh, consuming 3,818.4 (non condensing boiler) -4,146.96 kWh (condensing boiler) for the metered period.

    Read your rental contract and check the opt-out conditions.

    LPG is sold per liter and charged via the consumer's meter per cubic meter.

    we are in a similar situation on e tank feeds 36 houses....you can opt out of contract after 5 years from installation of meter...

    price for gas M^3 is/was, up to december 10th last year 2.3046 plus vat @13.5%

    Daily meter charge is 0.1839 plus vat @13.5%
