I have just read the other thread on converting a 3 door to a comm.

What Can I buy in an estate car that would be only 50 quid vrt?

Whats the DOE like compared to the NCT.

Also what rate of tax would I pay on an 06 520d (example) commercial

The Passat definitley qualifies. The DOE is much the same as NCT. The tax is 250 euro a year for all car derived vans. You must be VAT registered to avail of this.

That may be different. AFAIK a set of accounts of some sort should suffice.
