    Hey again,

Am trying to find a competitively priced car service in North Dublin but somewhere I can trust at the same time to do a good job! It's for honda jazz.

It's 12 months since my car had a full service and I need to get it looked at asap but don't want to overspend on it, just pay a fair price.

Has anyone any recommendations? Hoping to come in at 100-125 range.

Are you able to have a go at it yourself?

Save's money (a lot of money)
    Great satisfaction
You know the job is done well

There are tutorials and videos all over the web on how to service your car. There's a great tutorial on here also http://boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055422868

Not a chance I'd be any good! A friend offered to do the oil change for me but I'd just rather have the whole thing looked over.

Its very easy to just change plugs, air filter, oil etc but thats not a service and doing a DIY won't pick up on all the other checks that a fully trained Mechanic would do while servicing the Vehicle.

There's changing service parts and there's servicing a car.

    Two completely different things IMO.

I could recommend my mechanic based off the Navan Road, He has done my car and my mothers for years, will give you the old parts if required.PM me if you want the number.

This is the problem, almost any car on the road can be oil and filter changed for this, a proper service on the other hand could mean anything from this price to several hundred depending on what parts need to be replaced, if you need brake pads and discs done this could add €300 to the bill alone, a timing belt could be little change of €500.
