tap bolt size

Hello, Could someone please help identify the size of the bolt in the attached picture that is holding these taps in and if this http://www.arro.ie/Products/Stanley-Ratcheting-Wrench-17-24mm-4-87-990__STA487990.aspx (thought this might be good because of confined space) could be used to undo them, I need to replace the overflow and reckon if I can loosen the taps and push them up out of the way that I could get better access to the overflow. Would this work ? Thanks.

You should use an adjustable spanner on brass,,

the b&q link will allow u to remove the 3/4 lock nut (brass) and the 1/2 flexible hose if needed.

personally if I had to do it, I would remove the 1/2 flexible and use a box spanner to remove the brass nut

you should be able to change the overflow without removing either tho

Thanks for advice and I know where you are coming from but the picture only shows a side view of the pipes what it doesn't show is that there is another copper pipe running from tap to tap that feeds a shower head and it would therefore take more than removing the flexible pipes to get a box spanner up over the nuts.

The new overflow has a part sticking out of it that makes it impossible to push up into that space without shifting the taps.
