Hi,as the title suggests in the next few weeks im finally going to upgrade from my trusty Classic to a 64GB Touch.

What I was wondering was,is their much to doing the changeover with regards to my iTunes library(ie, keeping music, playlists and play counts?).The reason Im seeking help is because when I changed over iTunes from my old desktop to my current laptop I seemed to have weeks of hassle with it and Im just trying to avoid something simillar happening with the change of iPods

I will be handing over the classic to somebody else so I also want to leave that as it originally came out of the box in terms of wiping it.

    Thanks in advance

As long as you are using the same computer with all the same music you should see no changes when you sync.

The first sync might take a while depending on the amount of content you are syncing

    Thanks
Ive around 40GB of music so it probably will take a while on the first sync.
How would I go about wiping the old classic then?

    Just restore your old iPod!

Plug it into computer - open iTunes - click 'Restore' on the screen. Souper easy.
