Whats a good dishwasher brand to buy?

I`m after a good dishwasher in grey or black.
I dont want to pay out the hole for one but I dont mind paying a little bit to get one that`s a good build.
I know I`ve read somewhere of some brands to stay away from but I cant remember them all, I think Beko was in there.
Anyone have any experiences with a few brands would you mind telling me, cheers!

It would appear that unless you buy a top brand (like Miele) then you're into a bit of a lottery when it comes to domestic appliances. I go for the cheapest no-brands myself - but make sure to get something with more than the standard years guarentee. If a machine lasts 2 years then it'll more likely go a bit of distance.

16 years from my no-brand washing machine (although I had to fix a leak about 6 months ago) and 6 from my no-brand dishwasher.

Steer as far clear from technological advancement as you can. The simpler the better.

Yeah, its odd cause I saw the Miele ones and they look cheap, but I`m not paying €700 for one, I`m thinking of a Kenwood or Beko, both have good and bad reviews.....I dont know

Have only good things to say about the Beko 1530. 300 quid,it's a black one.

A service man who does Whirlpool that I know was praising them.(He does some Beko stuff aswell)

Kenwood white goods are woeful.

The simple answer is you get what you pay for. If you pay a lot you get a quality machine. If it's cheap, get the 5 year warranty.;)

Bosch are generally good, though the black model seems to be near double the price of the Beko 1530.

Black paint must be very expensive, due to black appliances costing a fair bit more than white equivalents.

I often say to customers that I wouldn't know the best because they are the one's I never work on, unfortunately with dishwashers I work on them all, Mieli included, so I usually tell customers to buy the cheapest machine that will do the job for them, and don't be swade by nice looking warranties. :rolleyes:
