[Ps3] 2v2 TDM Comp

Just wondering if this has been done here yet?

I think it could be quite fun plus it could be a good way for the community to get to know each other.

If there is enough people who would like to participate I think it could work well.

Just a idea. What are your views?

It could even be MLG variant. If enough people want to get in on it I can draw up some rules.

how would teams be decided? Randomly or would people find their own buddies?

Just my opinion on this, I ain't being a big cock head..

2V2 in someways is a good idea, but depending on the playstyles can be very boring, Kills can come few and far between depending on the game type, I have seen alot of it on Justin.tv with the guys that live stream gaming, and sometimes it can be good, but even the guys that can go *(I've seen 202-16 in pubs) can get like 10 kills an as many deaths. It can be interesting but can be very boring.

If ya set it up fair play mate, but I just don't find it that amazing.. something like 4v4 is a different story.

Again, thats just my opinion, I ain't bitcching all over your idea mate, I hope it works out, just from what I've seen it can be very very boring. Especially if ya get a big map.

I think random would be best. But could be tricky to arrange. Maybe a vote on it if it is to go ahead.

Also with a lot of people on the forum with recording devices it would be cool if the gameplay could be uploaded.

Great point, I was thinking 3v3 or even 4v4 but would there be enough people here to have that many?

Thats the only reason I said 2v2. But it could easily be 4v4.

If ya go into the "About last night thread" most nights we are on in a party of 9 in ground war, and me personally I still get asked if we have some room for some people, Depending on the night an the day, there can be alot of people on.

An if a team ends up being something like Magill and Ade no one has a chance... :P

We just finished a 2v2 tournament in AK47 actually. It ran smoothly enough, took us a while to get the final done tho, with christmas and ****.

Way we done it was 9 lives, unlimited time, Firing Range for 2 maps, if it was a draw then a third map on nuketown was played. Some of teh guys camped but sure it was still good. Would probably have to be random, even then you could get very uneven teams etc

3v3's etc wont work, at least they never have for our clan (So i've been told). Its very hard to get 6 people all on at the same time etc 2v2's have had the most success.

Yeah that's the kinda thing I was thinking. I like the 9 lives idea. Maybe better sticking to the smaller maps firing range, nuketown and Havana.
