At no point do we see what these travelers do to earn money, yet they're able to buy flashy cars (no doubt uninsured and untaxed as they are in Ireland), expensive caravans, ridiculously expensive weddings and loads of land to illegally build on.

And i'm sure they use the NHS and claim benefits without ever paying a penny of National Insurance.

The guys see a girl they like, grab her and keep her in one spot till they get a kiss from them......It can get very rough though from what I seen.

What's shocking about it. They built there illegally. If they didn't want the stuff knocked down they should get proper planning permission.

Well thats from their side, the council probably did offer them something.Jerry the young man did say "The council offers you a house, but when you used to living in a caravan"....Or something like that he said...

    +1

Also, why should the council provide them with housing? The money they spend on their communions and weddings would go a good way towards a house.

Don't know why they were worrying if the two families would fit together, the mother of the bride fit right in! Don't know what was worse the blonde extensions, the wedding outfit or the so called tan.

I thought Jerry was lovely god bless him. But my god i can't get over the clothes. It seems strange though that they hold "high morals" but dress like that. It's a pity they don't have the choices most young girls do. To dream of careers or to fall in love with whoever they wish. Thats the sad part.

Now where the airgead comes from is another thing:confused::confused:

The dressmaker was driving a top of the range, Rangerover and seemed to have had some work done as well on the face - she wasnt giving out any hints on the price of the get up, she knows what side her bread is buttered.;)

Dead right, did you see the built-in satnav in the Range Rover? Proper little earner she's on to!

The thing is, I think they are being swindled. Bead work is time consuming alright, but its only their bodices that are done usually and they're done with a glue gun. The material is tacky and cheap... I reckon she's robbing them blind and they're only happy to pay more than the last girl:eek::eek:

From the Mirror on Jan 22nd last....

The revelation that one of the stars of the five-part series is an ex-jailbird will embarrass bosses.

Yeah right, a national paper writes an article highlighting the program with the title of the program in the headline, I'd say the producers cried into their corn flakes when they read that!

I'd say if you added up the convictions of all the travellers in the program you'd be into triple digits. Did you notice how many of the men have their faces blurred when they show the people at the churches?
