    I got an infraction recently for calling Liverpool fans "Scouse bastards" in a drunken rant before the Manchester United v Liverpool match.

    Makes me wonder why it's not filtered...

    It just doesn't work on forums IMO. Any of the "bad" words take on much different meanings in real life and the sound of them is part of the appeal. They don't help convey much meaning online.

    I don't think that's a sign "bastard" is frowned upon, you're just not supposed to abuse fans in the soccer forum, no matter what word(s) you use, no?

    I got banned from AH once all right for saying "cunts" which I thought ridiculous. The word is used non stop on AH.
