A really nice matt white colour for doors/stairs?

    Hi,

    I'm looking for a nice good quality white/off white/matt colour to paint the doors, skirting, stairs etc.

    Has anyone any recommendations?

    Eggshell white with a small bit of dilutent,its not a gloss white and it also soaks into the wood easier and leaves a nice even finish.Comes out a nice white but its a matte colour (non shiney).

    Just done this last week.

    Thanks paddy for posting the photo of it that looks really well. Just what i'm looking for a nice matt finish.

    Hiya,

    Have a look at ColourTrend Almost White, we have used their water based matt paint on all our wood work and the colour is great.

    I used a Dulux mixed paint, Delicate Pumice (got it mixed up in MRCB paints) and I love it. It's eggshell finish and not stark white - there's kind of a grey tint off it, which might sound gank but it's really lovely.
