Gerry: Why are you friends with Billy?
Me: Well Gerry it's like this. I live out in the country, and there's no one else to be friends with.

The things that came out of those kids! Some of them even let the cat out of the bag regarding extramarital affairs, their parents sex lives, their hatred for one another etc. etc. You could always spot two red heads in the audience. I would love to watch clips of it now.

Did a programme on MS, through Irish -it seems the subset of people with MS who have fluent Irish is quite small:D. I only did it to show that life can go on, it's not the end of the world.

Most of what is represented as reality TV is in fact totally contrived TV. No one in my extended family was on any of that ****e.

My father was on TV for a result in the 1969 General Election. He was on 2 quiz shows and I was on one. My sister was on a documentary about treatment for fear of flying. That's it.

Oh yeah, the wife and our four youngest were on breakfast TV (TV AM?) late 2009 when Jedward were still on the X-Factor.

Back in the day, when tg4 couldn't get people to participate in their programs they made for kids, they'd just get kids from irish speaking schools. Hudaí was always recorded in Dublin, so I was always roped in by my school to take part.

My mam is still proud to this day.

The only time was on the 6 o'clock news shaking C. J. Haughey's hand. Not my proudest moment in retrospect.
