All you're gonna hear today is a lot of "I don't accept that" "fundamentals are sound" etc...

Enda Kenny - in the greatest case of "Bottling it" since the foundation of the state - will be so scared of actually becoming Taoiseach, that he will go into coalition with FF.

lol thats the first time i heard that, and it actually sounds like it could happen....

if enda starts running this country we will be in bigger trouble then we already are, this country needs someone decent to vote for but as far as i can see we have no-one...:(

As long as there are enough people dumb enough to keep voting for them. It worked for the Tories during the 80's and 90's.

What about people from other islands?

Donegal people may be the only ones to get this

Weren't they predicting something like that in the run-up to the 2007 election? The one that Bertie won contrary to expectations?

We really need to implement that clause they have in some other countries, if you get enough signatures on a petition saying that people aren't happy with the leader they have to hold another election straight away.
It would stop us getting stuck with duff leaders for years on end.

It will eternally be a farce until we get a government filled with people with the appropriate qualifications and a history of excellence in their fields. None of the current alternatives are really better than Fianna Fáil in that regard.
