The key to winning this event is getting a grid with the Chaparral 2J lined up to start in the 3rd row. This may be around the 8th time you try the race. He will get tangled up in a wreck at least once and get turned around. After that, it's an easy win

If you still have the Toyota 7, can I borrow it for the Historic Race's, if not its cool

Ive tried the Lambo Countach but its a right pain in the arse.

Wouldn't mind the Volvo if you still have it. I am just after buying the VW Golf for the Nurburgring Event, so if you need that when i'm done i'll be happy to pass it on too.

Cheers for the C4, won the race easily. I sent it back there about an hour ago. I'm still trying to win that B-Spec Historic Race with the Toyota 7 but if you're not sorted soon just remind me and i'll send it on.

Edit: Since I sent you back your car does that mean I cant send anything else until midnight?

ok, so the other night i decided to download the update (1.5) and install the game. Took about 6 hours all in all. (ive got slow broadband). By the time is was finished, t'was bed time. So i spent all the next day looking forward to playing a faster improved version of GT5.

So i got home, had the place to myself for the night, turned it on, waiting for it to start then bam! a warning pops up saying "There is insufficient disc space (HDD) available, 32MB required" so i click ok and it goes back out of the game :mad: 32MB?? ive got 54GB of space available you stupid game!!
So after restarting the game, taking out/cleaning/putting in the disc, faffing about with the bloody thing for over an hour, i got so pissed and just deleted the game file and went back to just playing it off the disc. It works fine like that.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

No problem man. At least ya got sorted. Couldn't get B-Spec Bob to win Cote D'Azur in the Historic Race last night so I just gave up and moved on. Hopefully he'll be more able for it when he levels up more.

    New Seasonal Events are up:

    Cape Ring (Outside) - VW Schwimmwagen typ166 (800,000Cr / 30,000Exp.)
    Cote d'Azur - Peugeot 207 GTi (150,000Cr. / 40,000Exp.)
    Cape Ring South - TVR Tuscan Speed 6 (200,000Cr. / 70,000Exp.)
    Rome Circuit - Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione '08 (350,000Cr. / 90,000Exp.)
    Nurburgring GP/D - European Touring Cars (2,000,000Cr. / 120,000Exp.)

All 5 laps except Nurburgring which is 8 Laps.

EDIT: Just noticed the prize money - 800,000 Cr. for the first event is what is up in game, but surely that should be 80,000????

    B-Spec Bob :D

Classic, the bloody AI of the B-Spec driver's is annoying at times, I only finished the Classic Japan race in Grand Valley the other day at B-Spec level 13 as he couldnt handle the Dome Concept car

Its insanely annoying when he hangs back despite having many great chances to overtake. My lad is level 22 now. Won a lot of the races handy enough because when ever I could I entered the Formula GT car. :D Most of the time I was able to give him massively overpowered cars which was useful. ;)

Yeah it seems that my B-Spec driver can only win when the car he's drivin is at least 150bhp more than anything else on the track. If it is around the same as the rest he'll usually just end up in the middle of the pack for the whole race. And what is with him when he spins out off the track, there could be a gap of like 5-10 seconds between him and the car behind, but he will still wait for all the other cars to pass before he gets back on track

And i bet i'm the only one who sold it after winning it in one of the earlier A-Spec races?? :o

U dont win this one its the other, unless you bought it before youll have to purchase it, youll also need a custom transmission (among the other tune ups) and set it to 99MPH to get anywhere and mind the turning of corners.

Eh no you're not the only one. You win it early on and I sold it to fund the tunning of the a Countach. :(

So ahem, if anyone has a lend of one I'd be most greatful. I'll do the races tonight, so should be able to start passing on the cars tonight.

Are you sure you win it, I don't remember it and can't see it in this list either although I may be going blind if it's there.
