That won't be released, the ballots are probably being shredded as you read this.

According to Ned O Keefe on the 9 O Clock News: "There were 9 speakers in favour of Brian Cowen & 7 against, not bad numbers..But now we are where we are".

So when are the Greens going to grow some balls and fulfill their promise to pull out of government if the election wasn't called by end of January? Seems they are full of the same stuff as their policies...****

The vote didn't even start until about 8.45 so I don't know how they could have suggested to 'know' any more than what was predicted.

They won't just get hammered, they will be wiped out. The older generation might be stupid enough to vote for them out of habit or parish pump politics, but this generation will never forget what these wasters did to our country. 60 years in the politcal wilderness will take the arrogance out of them.

Too spineless to speak up, I'd imagine.

The useless oaf is on the 9 o Clock news as we speak...

I agree but the sad fact is that they will be out of office for two terms MAX and then they will be back in, fresh faces, same bull****...imo

Martin has resigned. Cowen just confirmed it on the news.

Donie Cassidy gets his mug into the picture. There isnt a more obnoxious man in the Dail / Seanad.

nteresting that they amazingly get the result to coincide with the 9 o clock news. They never miss a trick. However thankfully the electorate now sees through these wasters and they are hopefully heading for single digit poll ratings. Soon the only people voting for FF will be FF members and their close relatives.

Resigned to his fate, even, he'll never be leader now. (Even IF he keeps his seat.)

Now I'm apolitical but one thing that does annoy me is this useless oaf talk. NO ONE who has been appointed Foreign Affairs, Finance and Prime Minister of a nation is a fool, very far from it, I would say you would be a lot more foolish to think that.

I don't want to get into policy talk but it does bug me, funny thing is it was you and the people of Ireland who voted for him:rolleyes:

Mary Hanafin has elevated herself to Queen spineless. Is she the only suitor not to have said who she was backing ? Spineless, spineless, spineless !

The facts are out now. Not only does Cowen not give a fcuk about what 80+% of the people want, the parliamentary party doesn't give a fcuk either. That's going to be easy to explain away on the doorsteps.

I dont agree. He has probably gained some kudos for sticking to his word. Lenihan came in for a lot of criticism today and seemingly Hanafin hardly spoke at the meeting.

Last thing they need is Cowens mug on the posters
    I hope they get anihilated

Given her seniority, and probably giving a lickup vote to Cowen tonight, she seems the obvious candidate.

And who did you vote for, if you dont mind me asking?
