    Hey Sam, The only suggestion i'd have if it was possible for the app to receive txts. ie. have an inbox or display conversations?

    Just a thought. Thanks again.

    It's something I've been considering alright, I know it's possible.

    It's on the 'nice to have' list at the moment though

    I already have scheduled message functionality on the cabbage website that the desktop version uses so if I was going to do it I'd use that. It can send a confirmation email when it sends a message too

    its something I use quite a bit, super if you can manage!

    having trouble using cabbage today with my HTC legend. coming up with "incorrect username and password" .
    Im with meteor.
    I havent changed any settings.
    Any else having this problem?

    Having issues with the latest version today an Vodafone? Sends fine on 02 though.....

    Edit: Having same problem with desktop version as well :-(

    Invalid response received (tried to parse a page and couldn't find expected text)

    Receiving texts is on my to do list but it won't be in the next release anyway.

    As for delivery reports, that's down to the operator. O2 has a facitility for delivery reports that the desktop version interfaces with and it could be added to the android version but none of the other operators give delivery reports so I wouldn't be able to do it for them

    Can't log into the Vodafone site no probs Sam and send texts form there. Once it did give an error message but sends fine apart from that.

    i'm not sure what you mean here. Did you mean to say can log in and not can't? Is cabbage still giving you an error every time?

    Apologies Sam, I can log into the site and send texts no probs its just from the desktop app and Android app I can't send messages??

    On the desktop app what happens when you click more->extras->Check for updates?

    If you click more->configuration, is "Send messages via intermediate server" ticked? What happens if you untick it and vice versa?

    Can you click more->extras-> diagnose sending problems and post the results here? It'll ask you for the number you're sending to but just enter something like 0871234567

    I just released a new one to the market. The main updates are:

    1. Client side messaging, a direct connection to the network website instead of going through a script on my server.
    2. A black theme
    3. The recent button is back
    4. Scheduled messaging
    5. Better error handling and more informative error messages
    6. The server side script to use for sending messages is configurable
    7. Numbers selected from the recent list append instead of replacing in the number text box
    8. An option for a notification tone if message sending fails
    9. Sent messages can be automatically deleted after a configurable period
    10. Recent numbers append to each other in the number box rather than replacing

    Try it out please. When you update it'll take a few seconds to open as it updates the database. Please let it do it or you'll lose data.

    Do u have to go back into Market and search for this and download it again....?

    Should I not get a message that an update is available?
    Just want to be sure I am doing it right..;)

    Updated there a minute ago.
    Fantastic update, nice additions and the black theme is great looking.
    No button text spacing issues with HTC Desire.

    And I just released it again because someone rightly complained that the notification tone still played in silent mode. Now it vibrates instead :)

    Let me know if you don't get another update notification

    All present and accounted for :)

    Even the message I hadn't sent and the recipient was still there ready to be sent after the update

    I deleted the original there now and downloaded the new version......its SWISH and works 100% on my new SGS!

    The last two days I've been unable to send sms by Cabbage??

    "invalid username/password" or "parsing exception" keep coming up?

    Apologies if the remedy was posted earlier in thread - I've just come across this thread now.

    what carrier?

    guys cabbage is basically a front for the main carriers of ireland's web text service, if your carrier's web text is down cabbage won't work.

    vodafone and meteor have had both had issues this week.
