No you go into your local office and ask them to change it to wherever.

You have to collect your payment in the post office nearest to you. You can only change PO if you change address.

where I live I am smack bam right in the middle of two. Also if you have a reason why you need to collect from a different one - such as easier access by public transport for example, you may be able to change. If you don't ask you don't get.

Can you not switch to getting paid in your bank account?

JObseekers payments can only be collected in the PO. if you are unemployed and fit for work you are available to go to the PO. it is part of the effort to curb fraud. remember also a member of PO staff is entitled to ask you to show ID.

Nope not anymore. Everyone gets paid and stays getting paid into the Post Office now in efforts to curb fraud. If you were already getting paid into the Bank you get to remain being paid into the bank for the duration of that claim.
