why is BEER so nice?

Hi all, I'm sitting here having a beer and it's nicest thing in the world, I'm wondering why this is,and I don't mean alcohol but beer exclusively.

According to wikipedia

Beer is the world's most widely consumed[1] and probably the oldest[2][3][4] of alcoholic beverages; it is the third most popular drink overall, after water and tea.

they got it right up until the last part

Anyway it's been on my mind.

Well you see,it's like this...

A herd of animals can only move as fast as the slowest one.
And when the herd is hunted, it is the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first.

This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members.

In much the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells.

Now, as we know, excessive intake of alcohol kills brain cells.
But naturally, it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first.

Regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine.

And that is why you always feel smarter after a few beers.

Yeah thats much better. Lets have a toxic can of chemical fizzy brown sweet stuff. Can of coke has something like 12 spoons of sugar in it.

Yeah it tastes nice...so does Mcdonalds & smoking.

For a country that has such a love affair with beer we drink some awful muck. The selection of beer in the average Irish pub is the worst in Europe. Ice cold lager, and a stout that is more marketing than taste.

People who say beer is disgusting...

- Can't handle it. Turn into assholes or get sick after drinking it. Or both.
- Have only ever drank sh!te like bud, carling, miller or other common sh!t (thats nasty crap, try a proper beer)
- Have had a lickle drinky winky problem in the past & think of beer or anything alcoholic as horrible/disgusting etc... You just miss it.
