Anyone know where I can get rear bushes for a Citroen relay / Peugeot boxer van.
All I need is the bushes but according to suppliers I have to buy the spring leaf as well as you can't get the bushings on their own. (About €400 for the lot  and all I need is the bushings)

    Any help appreciated.

    Hi Row,

PM sent! Thanks for helping out with this.

The part required (I need 2 of them) is similar to the one shown on this ebay link:
    http://cgi.ebay.ie/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&Item=120610432174&Category=10376&_trkparms=algo%3DLVI%26its%3DI%26otn%3D2

Unfortuately the one shown does not appear to suit my needs although I did send the supplier an e-mail to check but never heard back.

If it's any help it seems the internal measurement needs to be 16mm and the external needs to be 41mm

Thanks again for going to the trouble of checking this out.

    Shorty

I have attached a diagram and the part no's for your van.
Going by this the leaf spring and bushings are all one part no...
    No 2 in diagrampart no 5102 H8 include (A=bush B=bush & C=Leaf)
Maybe give donnellys (Enniskillen) a call and see what there price is..
Seems mad that they don't sell the bushings separate....:(
Just double check the part no's by giving them your vin number.

If you can't make out the diagram pm me your email and i'll send it onto you...:-)

    Thanks for that Row.

I contacted Donnellys and they are to get back to me with a price as he's going to check out if the bushings from a Mark I van (Which are sold separate) will fit a Mark II van. He thinks he's sold them that way before without any problems.

Would be great if they did.

    Thaks again

    No problem,
Donnellys seem be more more helpful than the suppliers that quoted you €400Tbh i Never had any problems with them....:)
Not sure if there are any engineering companys that manufacture different size bushings like this...

    Not yet but I'm hopeful.

I've ordered a set from this company http://www.silentblocks.com/index.php?cPath=61_75&sort=1a&language=en and I'm just waiting for delivery.
They are for a fiat Ducato but the company reckon they will fit my van and if not, they will take them back.

I should have them on Monday (hopefully) so I'll update a day or two later when I find out if they fit.
They seem very good to deal with so far. Good communication and shipping but we'll wait and see.

    I'll let you know.

Donnelly's never rang me back but from the conversation I had with them, I think you can get them there as well .

    Just an update.

Brought the van to the garage today where they fitted the rear bushings I received from http://www.silentblocks.com/. They fitted perfectly. :)

Happy days! No need to buy the full leaf spring.

Skel17 - Hopefully these may work for you too.

It was €59 for 4 and that includes postage and packaging from Portugal.
(Have a spare couple now if I ever need them for the other side).

If they are the same as the older ones original birth do them - most motorfactors will have an original birth catalogue or you can look it up online at www.birth.it

The spring bushings are original birth number 2498 and 2499
