Want to learn Irish

Im originally from the UK but have decided to do my teaching degree here, but have been told to teach primary school kids (which I want to do) I need my Leaving Cert Irish. Does anyone know of anywhere I could do this? I'm a complete novice, so it would have to be for beginners and it would have to be Sligo/Leitrim, South…

Since your starting from scratch, I'd recommend classes and get a book or 2
I used "Teach Yourself Irish" this is good for beginners and teaches conversational Irish and teachers grammar as you go through it
"Buntús Cainte" is also good but there isn't much on grammar
"Learning Irish" by Mícheál Ó Siadhail is the best in my opinion but I wouldn't recommend it to absolute beginners

Abair leat is a good site for learning for the oral and aural exams in the LC
