The "I Like Cheese" one was good.

    Shame it never caught on.

Should've had more cheese. I like cheese.

Was Atari Jaguar as a poll choice not a Boards thing?

There is an auto-play option to address issues of lactic acid build-up in the active finger. :)

    The following always annoy me
    • Quoting a text, then adding ''LOL'', or +1. Is the thanks button not sufficient?
    • As Tom_Brady said, Dublin Forum/PI
      >
    • Pointing out that a topic was 'done to death' in a similar thread numerous months back. You're not being forced to follow the thread, leave it to the mods
    • IBTL. Why would you even bother posting that?
    • tl,dr, had to google this one. Why would you post that. Why not just not reply to the thread
    • Mods/hookers/cocaine. It was funny. Its not anymore (IMO)

This thread is a great source for trolls, although I agree with everything you've posted here

Recession was renamed Stephen. Not sure how that started

I christened it so - my proudest moment.

A recent meme - 'have you water?'

Or - 'has (insert shop/pub/business name) closed!?!?!

Atari Jaguar is not uniquely boards, it was on sites like slashdot long before it made it to boards. Coke and Hookers was a Fark meme way before it hit boards too.

Post any Father Ted quote and you get showered with thanks.

Recession was renamed Stephen. Not sure how that started

And footpad. Seems to be some joke from an ancient thread

All threads on immigration will have a Southpark video. Maybe it was witty and original once....

    Aaahhhahahaha. I missed that. :pac:

We can't help talking about Stephen so we named 'him' Stephen to avoid thread closure? Bright sparks in AH!

So ronnie3585 and padraiggg are possibly the only boardsies with an original idea?

"Which town?!" i would consider a boards one!
I'd like to take some responsibility for that one (as it always turned out to be Dublin and I'd then ask for thread to be moved to Dublin forum from AH).

I was in the middle of a great Monty Python-esque style thread that ended too early.

    Er - is "biko'd" a meme?

Like - Fail (in the right context)
Dislike- Fail, Epic etc. (in the wrong context)
    Rode - Yore Ma.

    I hate:

    - Quotes from Father Ted
    - Replying with a Sickipedia joke and not giving credit (Especially if it's your own joke that is posted)
    - Rolleyes. I ****in **** **** hate rolleyes. Go **** off.

    I like:

    - Trent
