Is it worth buying a PS3 even tho I have an Xbox?

I was thinking of buying an PS3 for Blu Ray. Is there anything else on the PS3 that I cant do on my Xbox or should I just buy a Blu Ray player?

You can play Uncharted 2 on a PS3

But seriously the PS3 does have some great games not available on the XBOX. For a long time I had just the PS3 and I am very glad that I bought an XBOX. I now have the best of both worlds.

I did things the opposite way. I had a PS3 and went and bought an xbox because I wanted to play online with the lads. Truth is it didn't last very long because I was used to the PS3 and never really used it much and I sold it after less than a month.

I would say if there are games you really want or if you can afford it then go for it, but from my experience it'll gather a lot of dust. It also depends on what the cost of a blu-ray player is too. Not sure what they're going for now.

yes, the current exclusive lineup is much better than the 360, while I do want to play Halo Reach and Gears 3 when it comes out, on the ps3 you have Heavy Rain, God of War, the Uncharted games, Killzone 2+3, Little Big Planet, Infamous, Metal Gear 4, and stuff like The Last Guardian coming out. plus the blu -ray, media centre capibilites, chargeable pads and free online play are all great bonuses.
