Is there post on Fridays in Ireland?

    Very simple question. (And I mean An Post mail deliveries to households and businesses, so we'll be having none of your cracks about "sure there'll be posts, depending on the thread")

    Its just I heard about a year ago of a proposal to restrict postal deliveries in Ireland on Fridays due to cutbacks.

    No, not since Mick the postman went on a short week. He has a bad knee and the bike was killing him.

    So I deduct that there is in fact post delivered on Friday's but only if your postperson isn't an alcoholic monocycling clown or on a short week because of a bad knee.

    OP you might be in luck. Is your postperson healthy?

    I know it's Fridays but our pissed up monocycling postman doesn't know what any day is, and hasn't done since we joined the Euro.:(

    So you may get Saturday or Sunday delivery. look at the bright side.
