Iphone 4 on 3 ring time options before going to voicemail

    I recently swiched to 3 from O2 when I got new Iphone 4 the problem I have that my phone only rings 3 times and then switches to voicemail, I contacted customer services about this and was told the max ring time on iphone was 15 seconds before it switches to voicemail i drive a lot and by the time i pull over I have missed the call

    dial **61*171**30# and press call
    that is if your voicemail number is 171, it could be 083 5 1234567

    I use Hullomail to get my messages from voicemail so not charged only under my flexi units, but my problem is that I want to get phone to ring for longer in order to answer it but 3 customers services keep telling me 15 seconds is max ring time which seems crazy
