Are there any outdoor pursuits groups out there?

    Hi,

I'm a 26 year old singleton hoping to get into outdoor sports of any kind and hopefully meet like minded people. I'd like to get into kayaking/walking/climbing/camping but none of my friends are interested so I've only managed to get into a bit of kayaking. Does anyone know of a group that I could join to get me started??

    :)

This club is good and has a young age profile. You probably won't find them on the official club lists: http://www.facebook.com/#!/group.php?gid=6135063268

I had a look at this site and it seems perfect, thanks Nathan. ColleenS, if this sounds good you're welcome to pm me and we can join them together. They say that a certain level of fitness is required so I might need to put in some ground work first ha ha!

Love this post....and would love to get involved in similar pursuits.
I'm on the same position as the OP......but I live in Cork (and I'm not 26 anymore!!! :().
So if anybody knows of a similar group in the South that would be great.

    Cheers!!

Think I've come across this club on the hills previously. They're Cork based.

    Hi Nathan,

Little confused....Do you mean the club you posted the link to on a previous message???.....The Challenge Hikers seem to be based in Dublin.
