Actually AFAIK Y2k affected boards.ie back in the day. It was a few months after I think. Something about post tables getting lost or whatever.

Playing playstation 2 with a friend, drinking cheap beer out of a pint glass that had 1999/2000 written on it.

Things have changed since then. Its an xbox360 now.

    :(

Actually, I thought it up in the Y2K, and have been waiting patiently for someone to mention Cuba in a post ever since, just so that I could confuse everybody with a Cuba Gooding reference.

happy to be of assistance :D

Y2K, Swine Flu, Bird Flu, Sigue Sigue Sputnik, Beastie Boys blah blah......

If you see an expert on Sky News warning of impending disaster relax, sit back and wait.

    And wait.

    , Swine Flu

dont know about that, all of tha A&E's in cork are over run, calling GP telling them to only send urgent cases.

Thats what my GP told me to-day, for what it is worth.

Yeah, I was working on the mainframe systems back then, and ohhhh, I discovered a bug in COBOL code that handled y2k... then was on-call support in the event any system errors occur

At the least the company who make KY Jelly were on the case. I hear that they came out with a new Y2K compliant product called "Y2K Jelly" - it allows you to insert 4 digits into your date...
