    Android2.0 version? I'll pass.
I ordered a tablet after seeing an similar ad on donedeal.ie a month ago. http://www.donedeal.ie/for-sale/computers/1647999?cid=1647999&&utm_nooverride=1
    It's Andriod 2.2 version. http://www.nowsupplier.com/android-22-os-tablet-inch-with-freescale-imx515-cortex-a8-chip-support-flash-player-10512m-ram-p-1413.html
Got it two weeks ago, I think it's worth buying as a tab mainly for a bit of surfing and watching movies.

Haven't tried the cheap chinese pads, but the archos pad is awesome for e300. As good as the expensive ones. French company I think.

Have checked out the Archos alright, but can't justify spending that much on one. Just want it to mess around with really. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Good to know. Are there bugs in 2.0 or is there something else I'm missing?

How much did you get the tab for in the end if you don't mind me asking? And how are you getting on with it so far?

That looks to be excellent value for €163.

    Any issues with it?

I got it for €128 in the end, it performances stable so far, but it's not as sensetive as ipad since it's a resistive screen. In totally, not a bad choice.

Is it possible that CES will make any difference to lower lower end market?

Did yours have Market access as standard, or did you need to install it after? Curious as thinking of picking one up soon.

Also - can skype be used with these? Both text and video?

Meant to also ask - why not Android 2.0?

There's Android market, but I'm not sure if it's a standard version.
As for the Skype, it only supports text chatting.
There are some apps(like: flash ect)can only run on a Android 2.2 version, so I'm not willing to recommend a 2.0 version.

I understand that flash can't be run on any version before 2.2, but how limiting will this be? I say this because I'm currently running Android 1.6 on my phone, and haven't come across any limitations as yet. I'll put a newer version on it soon, but I'm in no rush really.

Are there any other pitfalls which justify the jump in cost of this and the tablet you bought? That said, €128 sounds pretty good if your happy with it!

A-huuuu, in your case, the version won't be a trouble I think. Just choose as you like. It's just a knockoff for me, I'm waiting for the ipad 2. : )
