Water back after freeze but little hot water

Water came back today -post frozen pipes thawing out. Tank in attic is filling. Some hot hot water out of taps but the boiler (in the hot press) for the shower ain't heating up! I am not sure if it is empty. Any ideas?

Do you mean the Cylinder in the hot press? Is there water running from the hot taps in the house? have you no hot water in the shower, or no water from the hot side at all?

How is the water normally heated?
