Best Text Message App (Handscent VS Chomp?)

    Hi,
I've used both of these along with the stock app and there still doesn't seem to be a perfect solution. Chomp has adverts which are a bit off putting and a widget that doesn't work too well, I much prefer the stock HTC Sense widget. Handscent is advert free but the handscent widget is even worse I feel with the HTC Sense one again being more simply better.

Handscent and Chomp both have some essential features, like delivery reports icons and ease of adding a contacts number etc but is there any other app out there that takes the flaws of each of these and solves them? Widget is a big factor actually so if anyone can recommend another app, I'd appreciate it :)

Why not use the HTC widget defaulting to handcent to open the messages?

Ah I thought I was on to a winner with that idea, but then if you click the "compose" button or the menu button on the sense widget, it takes you to the stock compose/menu screen :( so say with handscent, it doesn't appear to be possible to compose a new text other than going to app menu to open it.
