That hot sauce seemed like fun, until we felt a bit sick for an hour:p Sooooo strong!

Is that a doggy back home? Mulled wine has a very particular taste...I've never liked, nor hated it.

Home Alone tomorrow is gonna be soooooo good:D Should be like seeing it in cinema all those years ago when it first came out:D Thank you student prices ^-^

Yep it's my aunt's dog next door, but he was in my nana's house for years up the road before that so he's more like my own dog. Everyone's always terrified of him coz he's like a bear but he's just a big cuddly thing :)

Stupid cat ignoring me at home grrr until this morning when no one here and then she wont get off my neck like a scarf

Awwww it's so cute how you don't really mean it..

    I'm so bored =(
Getting cabin fever already. Argh. I'm also running out of food (especially baking supplies!) but I'm not really brave enough to go outside.... Saturday was a major freeze for me!

Hope you guys had fun at the cinema btw.

My mum did go outside yesterday, and apparently couldn't find quinoa anywhere

She totally didnt mean it...I pulled her up about it and she could only smile...bwahahaha!

I r bored too ya know...was gonna mention cabin fever but see you already have :( Sitting inside is slowly driving me insane, and I like the outdoors!

You should try get out one day during the week, Friday might not be so bad unless you need supplies by tomorrow...do Superquinn not have what you need? that place is HUGE!

p.s. cinema was good fun thanks, couldnt find Paul, Laura OR her sis who is not as tall but looks almost the same:) They even got gifts from santa>.< Shame you couldnt make it.

ughhh the weather is horrible and I so sick today but had to do christmas shopping in town :( went to cornucopia and nearly fell asleep in bathroom was so wrecked oops but P got me soup :)
I'll have to go back out tomorrow too. I'm really sick of the weather now, even the trains took ages getting home.
Took my sis about 3 and a half hours to get home when it would normally only take an hour on the bus :/

Film was really good, got a narnia tee off santy which I've been wearing :pac:

Off to sleep now which I should have done ages ago....nn

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,541 ✭✭✭anothernight

But... Superquinn is like 15mins away from my house, on foot, on non-icy streets... The bus stop is like 2-3mins away and it took me 10 to get there on Saturday due to the ice =/ (and then I had to wait for half an hour for the next bus :()

I can't imagine LOS doing Christmas shopping in town. It's one of those things that she just looks too cool to be doing. Christmas? With the hordes of people? Really??? Just... weird.

I wanna see LOS and her sister side by side! But they have to be wearing the same makeup/no makeup for a proper comparison...

    Night night =]

But surely it makes a bit of a difference, otherwise you/she wouldn't wear it!

I'm in a massive makeup kick lately (and other girly things) because it seems like the longer I spend in the company of guys, the more my mind seems to desperately cling to its last few shreds of femininity. But makeup's always fun so I can't complain!

I don't get this.... Is the text underneath meant to be only readable if the screen is doing it's screwy LCD things? (as in, outside optimal angle of vision). Because if it is, it fails pretty miserably. And... what's the point anyway? I feel so slow lol

But.. makeup definitely makes you look different. Change the style and you could look very different. My opinion anyway.

And here I was thinking that saying "the screen is doing it's screwy LCD things" instead of viewing angle was the bad bit. *sigh*

It's 15-20mins on a sunny day. Add the icy footpaths into the equation and it takes at least double the time. Lucan's been impossible to walk in (around? through? brain's not working :() (at least around where I live... massive village/town/unruled population mass)

Walking into town? Er.... no thanks.

Meh... Moonbaby's meant to give him his makeover. And anyway I can put makeup on Dec any time I want, since he's realised that he likes to be poked and messed with anyway.

I've been demoted to slave status though, so I'm not sure where that activity stands anymore >_<

Guys also notice makeup btw. You've seemed to notice my makeup most times we've seen each other. You might not realise though but you always made some sort of comment that made it obvious that you've noticed, even if you didn't know you noticed!
Some guys are *amazing* at picking out makeup as well. And some guys are great at noticing how little things work with other things, whatever I'm wearing on the day.

EDIT: "Old pregnant woman" made me laugh... I'm a bit sleep deprived.

Shorter post to help your deprived state it is!

Ah ok, heard it was bad out there but not as bad as you make out. Thought you meant bus to Superquinn lol, not town >.<

She only wants the eyelashes, no need for makeup on those :pac: Sure yeah you can use his face as a template for your own stuff...much easier once you reclaim your status as Goddess haha!

Maybe I'm good at picking up on small changes like that? If I can do that, then surely I can pick up those "come get me" hints women seem to give off that I never pick up on?:p

So so so so bad! Should be asleep here but I'm not...bored at home and hungry:(

    You ladies doing alright?

I'd love to see that too.

Oh it's not bad now that your feet just sink into the snow. It was bad a few days ago, when there was no proper snow, only ice. Like sheets of irregular bumpy ice on the footpaths. Not too bad in certain areas, but to get from my house to the bus stop it was SO hard, as that's only a pedestrian way, not a proper road for cars, which means that nothing had been cleared. I've been told that the bridges (also pedestrian-only) were also pretty bad to walk on. I heard a lot of funny comments from my college friends from Lucan, about how ridiculous they all looked (a couple of weeks ago, in the same icy situation) trying not to slide and make fools of themselves :p

I distinctly remember that the first time I expressed an interest in putting makeup on Tar, Moonbaby immediately jumped to say that she'd asked first. So I don't think it's just the eyelashes....

=/ I wanna go back to being the Goddess :( I've learned that I'm not submissive at all. I always thought I was. But now I think I'm just a bossy bitch. :o
I actually said today "I'm not playing anymore!!!" and left it at that, until I remembered how important it is to be good at everything. So I opted back into slavery... argh. I shall get better.

You getting food? I made lemon curd today to accompany the shortbread ^^ The only problem is that I only had margarine, not butter, and I ran out of sugar halfway through measuring, so I had to add in some random sugar substitute in tabs that I didn't even know we had (it was a desperate measure!). Still turned out so tasty. I love lemony things :)

Yes. I'm on a laptop with a crt monitor. Of course. I'm in bed with it as well.

    >_>

I do still have a few crt's in my house in Madrid though, for no apparent reason

Might be because I'm very good at noticing very subtle colour changes (years of practising art must've done that), or because I had my screen at its brightest setting, which is a lot brighter than my sister's (for example) and seems to give a wider range of colour. Idk. Did any of those people try that on a macbook pro?

Maybe I just have awesome vision :p
