Most bonkers power creep?

    I'm a fan of action anime[Bleach,Dragonball etc.]

    And a crucial part of any anime with special powers is the advancement of those powers.My question is what's the most outrageous power creep you've seen in an anime/manga?

    I'm catching up on my Bleach and I noticed how in the beginning, a single hollow is a challenge, in 100 or so episodes later and the most powerful Captains in the universe are getting asses kicked by ichigo.

    Similar to Dragonball, in the beginning Super saiyans are way more powerful than anything else shown in the universe.By the end there are 6 more forms and the first evolution isn't even rated as a power any more.

    Errr yeah, sorry about that. There's plenty of series which evolve in a similar fashion, just an easy way to keep the crowds coming back for more; making the plot as effective and advancing powers, making people scream in shock and awe

    I'd say Mahou Sensei Negima is just about keeping a reign on their power levels.
    While Negi himself is levelling up quickly (possibly due to his bloodline), it's explained that
    he's actually slowly (but willingly!) turning into a demon and losing part of his humanity
    .
    Fate Averruncus meanwhile appears to have been withholding some power previously.
    Evangeline was limited by a curse -- unlimited, she's easily among the Top 3 in that universe.
    And Rakan... he's just broken :p


    But as for "most outrageous power creep" -- EASILY Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann.

    Episode 1: "Ahhh, a Ganmen! We need to use tricks & luck to kill it!"

    Dragonball Z was a bit ridiculous - here's a bad guy, I'll just power up and eventually (70 episodes later) defeat him YEA! I am now the strongest in the universe EVER!

    Oh shít y'all, here's a guy who is STRONGER than the strongest guy in the universe! I'll just have to power up and become STRONGER than the guy who is stronger than me even though I was the STRONGEST in the UNIVERSE!

    Repeat ad nauseum.
