Would love some advice to the following
Got a new baxi condensing boiler installed in june. Have had a lot of problems with the heating since. One rad out of the 12 wont work. Iv tried balancing and some days this works and rad heats up and the next day we have same problem all over again. Some days despite balancing this rad wont work at all.
Boiler today stopped working and is reading E164. Anyone know what this means.
Also i have to go outside frequently and pour boiling water over the white plastic outlet pipe as it keeps freezing over. Is this normal or commom? When i did this today boiler started working again.
Would love some advice and help. thanks

Partially blocked or air locked primary circuit.

First port of call is to check out filter on return at boiler. May need a pro to have a look.

    Automatic air vent closed?

Or is there an auto vent in the hotpress?

Check there anyway, the vent in the boiler is cover off job,i think.

Best to give the original installer a call because while technically air vents are a plumbing issue

inside the boiler is a gas installers/commisioners game, which has responsibilities.
