Sorry if this has been asked before..

My father has a free sat system rigged up to the tv in the sittingroom and wishes to have free sat wired up to the kitchen tv.

Is it simply a case of buying a double LNB and running a wire to the 2nd tv (via a 2nd sat box) ?

i.e. using one sat dish for both tv's/boxes...?

    Dual LNB.

Better to get a Quad LNB. More common.

Allows you to have a PVR

Watty is correct-get a quad lnb,you can connect more boxes to it if needed, futureproof, rather than forking out for a dual and having to change it again if you decide to add more boxes or install a pvr (recording box in layman's terms)
