Fridge freezer not freezing properly

I have a hotpoint under counter fridge with a small freezer box. The other day the box thawed and now if I try to freez anything I have to turn the thermostat up as high as it will go.Any advice would be most welcome

Ha ha... before i opened this i knew it was hotpoint...

Gas has deflated so to speak.... New fridge as too expensive to fix
