The relevance of these comments in 2010 are? oh wait, of course, it's the Daily mail.

The man left office in disgrace 36 years ago and now this is news ??

    If anything, he nailed it.

Perhaps we can look forward to hearing Bertie Ahern's racial views in 2044 and Cowen's in 2047.

(1)At first I thought this was going to be another one of those wikileaks reports or something:D

(2)Richard Nixon clearly never met an Irishman, maybe he was mistaken us for Scotsmen or something. I gladly take up his challenge to a drinking contest if he were still alive

(3)Maybe the reason all the Irish guys he met were mean, was because it was him and they didn't like him. He was a Republican afterall

Richard Nixon was actually one of the better Republican presidents. Intellectual, very strong IQ. Came across as a more sane Republican until the party was hijacked by neocons when Reagan took them over.

I think he had fairly good approval ratings prior to watergate (at least compared to Obama). Definitely underrated.
