Did you see they may have (We've spoken about that," he admitted. "Perhaps a one-off special for charity and you could have single people like Peter Andre coming down the lift, Keith Lemon and other characters. It'd be a great laugh.") lol

Now that would be good even if it was the UK one!

:o oops, you know what word to insert there.

yeah I was a bit confused by that as well.. I'm not sure how the girls are chosen for the show but they all seem to be i) fairly confident ii) extrovert iii) reasonably good talkers (if not exactly as eloquent as Hilary Clinton)... I think that they are chosen for being gobby more so than being beautiful...

Colin Farrell is single as are Liam Neeson, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Stuart Townsend, etc. Now whether or not TV3 would afford to pay this world famous Irish celebs is another kettle of fish :p

I would definately be on the show if these were the men:D

Oh God, the type of men TV3 would choose.
    County footballers/hurlers :(
Apprentice failures (apart from Will;)) i.e. Breffni (sp?)
Probably someone off something like "Young, dumb & living off mum"
No doubt one of their news readers

Thats the best they would come up with i guess:(

Haha, yeah TV3 would put out some cringe worthy "celebs" to complement their cheap a$$ set and pi$$ poor production.

Btw notice the ridiculously high quality of the single Irish celebs that I plucked from the top of my head? See, this country produces some great men so there is hope for you out there! Although I wish that it was the other way around :p

You see why am i not convinced that the typical Irish man is anything remotely like Colin. Ah...to dream....
    C'mon, you have:
All the Corrs............and probably someone else:p

Calm down, it would be pretty obvious that people would compare the two shows. Does it really bother you that much? I suggest, if it does, then just ignore the thread and focus your energies on something else.

^ so you're confirming y'all are gonna discuss the UK version every week from now on????????......argh!

    Never confirmed that.
Look, the UK version has been mentioned in the last 2 pages of this thread, I hardly think its taking over the thing. Just sit back and think about this, why is it bothering you that much? Why are you getting angry about something which is so unaffecting? Could your energy be put to better use? Can you just ignore this thread?
Honestly, all you have done in recent weeks is complain about the location of this thread. Can you just get over it?

What does it matter if the UK and Irish versions are discussed in the same thread?

I knew you were going to write that ;) Well I've met Andrea and Sharon Corr and they are about 5 foot tall and not as beautiful as they look on TV or in magazines. Even top "Irish" models are foreign, like Georgia Salpa (who is Greek) and the late Katy French (she was born in Switzerland to an Australian father and English mother). The bottom line is, being a woman in Ireland is far easier then being a man :p

Good looks come from a millions and one different things, and if they cant find it in people and judge them by what they find attractive and not by the little things that build attractiveness are shallow.
Love yourself and believe in your own beauty.
Difference between you and me is i dont feel bad praising myself :)

Just because media tell you its fact does not make it fact ;) You keep letting them tell you faked up women with false everything are good looking and men who have hairdressers and stylists are better looking,oh and other nationalities.
Dont you remember when the new girl or guy who were Irish moved into a new estate? They would be the cats milk for months in everyones eyes.Just because new!
Those girls on that show have lovely teeth lovely eyes lovely dresses, they may not be telly savvy or comedians but then they write their own lines.DOnt forget that.
If you find them unattractive that your prerogative and its mine to say Irish women are stunning and men so handsome and have just as many good looking as any other country.
