Ford focus airbag light

Hi everyone, The airbag light on my dad's Focus won't go off, if the car is on then its lit. Does anyone know why this might be? The car wasnt even in a minor crash, so i can't understand what the problem is.

First thing I would do is check underneath the front passenger seat. Somebody sitting in the rear could have accidently kicked the air bag senor wire loose from the connection.

Failing that you probably need a garage with diagnostic equipment to read the fault code from the car's ECU.
