Reading the Star at my local Insomnia and noticed that hes up for an entertainment.ie award as best radio personality.
He's in to win as, according to the august publication he's "expected to beat off all-comers"

Innocent until proven guilty i guess, no word on a court date or indeed the investigation, seems to have gone all quite, perhaps in the hope we will all forget about this sordid affair. The illustrious Mr Kean is also gone to ground, no a mention or photo of him in any of the horrid gossip columns in the past few weeks, not sure if he is still doing his column in the herald. Me thinks he is taking Terry Prones advice (Dig a hole, jump into it, cover yourself up & stay in it)

If only she'd follow her own....

Still no update on this? Seems like everyone's just sitting on their hands when they should be grasping the situation more firmly.

Doubtful you saw him, he's supposedly in Wicklow in one of Gerald Keanes houses. I still feel sorry for the guy, he's allegedly after being bought out of his share in the Boardwalk - and on the day that was supposed to have happened, the Boardwalk were all over Ken Tobin's show for a promotion - but I've never heard a competition being plugged so much on a single show before. It was like every 30 seconds BOARDWALK BOARDWALK BOARDWALK BOARDWALK.

Did he have one hand knocking back a packet of nurofen+ and another hand down his trousers?

He has nothing to do with the Boardwalk.

Sorry to hear about your incident Neil. I feel very sorry for you as I know it was totally out of character for you. I keep thinking some evil person must have hypnotized you to make you commit such an act. I hope this won't get you sacked as I love your show.

Eh, yes he did. Christ the dogs on the street knew that. From their own website :
The dream of two leading business figures Neil Prendeville of 96FM and the City Channel together with hotelier John Gately has been realised and achieved when the contemporary glass doors of the "Boardwalk" opened in Autumn 2008.

From Corkepedia (Who knew it existed?) :
Neil and the City Channel together with hotelier John Gately opened their restaurant "The Boardwalk Bar & Grill " opened in Autumn 2008

    From Independent.ie :
Everybody, it seems, still wants to be a restaurateur, including Cork local-radio presenter Neil Prendeville, who, with hotelier John Gately, has opened the real capital's new Boardwalk Bar & Grill.

    Eh, yes he did. :

I see you used the past tense. Correct!

Of course, but you quoted me, and then proceeded to say "He has nothing to do with the boardwalk", which would imply and infer to anyone reading that my statement was incorrect. Which it wasn't.

    Correct again.

Part of some problems is what people think instead of what's actually said or done. If I were to make the same assumptions that you implied, that is that he is part of the Boadrwalk, then I'd be in error.

    Under the boardwalk...
    Down by the Lee...
With me langer in me hand, baby, thats where I'll be...

I want whatever you're taking. I did the opposite, I said "Allegedly, he has been bought out of his share in the Boardwalk". You'd want to be on some special tablets to think that means he's currently still involved in the running of it. 99.9% of people would understand what I mean.

Either that, or you're just one of the 0.01% of people who love nitpicking and arguing online for the sake of it *sigh*. I'm going for Coffee. That'll be nice to me at least. Mmmmmm, friendly Coffee.

Don't mix the coffee and the special tablets though...it'll end badly...

Well, I don't think I was nasty to you and I wasn't arguing. But I'll go for a coffee too.

What's the current situation with the well known Cork Radio Host who alledgily knocked one out in the middle seat of the front row of an Aer Lingus flight to Cork ?

Pretty normal activity on that flight I would have thought ?

Hopefully on the dole, where he should be, pending a full investigation.

Messer Kean just had the one house in wicklow albeit ****ing enormous, he put the jerk up for a few days after the story broke. I believe the jerk is back at his holiday home, is suspect Messer Kean like all the jerks high profile buddies have now dropped him like a bad habit!

Should never be heard on any self respecting radio station again.

    Shot to bits.
