    Here's the situation:

I need to store a sofa (L-Shaped, 2 pieces, both 6ft by 3ft) for 12 months. Dublin area preferably. Any suggestions? Obviously the cheaper the option the better as cash is tight!

    Thanks

Would you lend it to some students?

If so, I have your answer.

Lending not an option (although in fairness that is the cheapest option!). Is there anyone who'd collect it and store it for a reasonable fee?

Still stumped on a solution. Cheapest self storage is 600 euro!

Sell it. You will either pay loads to have to stored well or end up with a musty sofa if its in someones garage or shed.

You can buy a second hand one when you come back from your travels.

I'll take it off your hands for a reasonable price.

Problem is, it's not my sofa but I need rid of it for the next 12 months and then I have to take it back!

Or ask/tell the sofa owner to remove it for the year.

I mean if its not your property, then surely its not your right to remove it and you dont have any right to remove it,seen as its not yours.

    Where are you based OP?

Have a place where you can store it for a year. Unheated but very dry and clean. PM me if you are interested. Based in d15
