Hi, looking to have work done on my old Volvo 940 - does anyone know of a specialist in Dublin/Dublin South? I heard there was one in Sandymount, but I may have imagined that..
    Thanks in advance

Independent Volvo Specialists on Erne Street are the only ones I can think of.

Following on from the earlier posts, I too am in need of a Volvo Specialist.

Following a slight skid last weekend I now have an 'anti skid service required' light on continually and the cars handling is terrible. To drive straight the steering wheel is almost at a right angle to the normal position!

Working on Baggot St. the Erne street specialist would be very convenient for me.

Superjosh9 how did you fare with the above specialist? Would you recommend?

Are there any other garages in the area I should consider. It doesn't have to be a Volvo Specialist but I thought best to go that route.

    Thanks for any replies.

There's a new place open in Clontarf called Scully Autocare and who have a master Volvo technician I believe: http://www.scullyautocare.ie/

Thanks VolvoMan, will give them and Independent Volvo Specialists a call tomorrow.

Hope this doesn't prove to be an expensive fix.

    Any update to this thread?

I'm living in Bettystown - County Meath and need to locate a reliable trustworthy mechanic for my MY2000 Volvo V70R-AWD, any suggestions?
