    ALL HDTVs will eventually be so called 3D as standard as the only real extra expense is LCD shutter glasses. Very simple software change and a €1 IR LED with pulses to syncronise the LCD glasses to the alternate frames.

    Most of the time Stereoscopic TV (so called 3D) is pointless and it will hurt your eyes as there is a single fixed depth of field but you are fed two offset flat views. It doesn't even work for nearly 20% of people.
