    I didn't but my daughter does.She's five.
His name is Ghosty and she is always chatting away to him and playing with him.
Most recently she was jumping from one foot to the other bursting to go to the loo. When i asked her why she didn't just sit on the the toilet instead of just looking at it she said " because Ghosty is doing a poo "

Better that people help themselves than rely on imaginary beings.

Is there really going to be a theological discussion in this thread?
Why don't we start talking about Cowen and co, the state of the economy and for good measure the old reliable I'm not a racist but........

Let's put this to bed. People have a right to believe exactly what they want about about the unanswered Qs. There isn't anything to say that they are right. There isn't anything to say that they're wrong. More religions = more feastdays = more reasons to skive off work and go on the beer. Any questions? Atheism---->thisaway!

Imaginary friends? Afraid not. I'd love to ask people who had them as kids. Do you remmeber them? is it a case of imagining them, or were they reallly real to you as in "WTF Mam, can you NOT see him? He's right there!"

Only saying we shouldn't rely on these things.
Heroin would be as good, makes one feel better in the short term, not much good at sorting out the underlying problem though.

Just to stay OT, I had an imaginary spider as a friend, according to my mum I chatted to him for hours at a time.

Well if they are imaginary then they are relying on themselves...

    Yeah, his name was Milko

I went on to do some porn in later life . . . wonder was it connected?

I had one called Dreaka. Dunno where I got the name, don't remember it at all but the parents say it's true.

My sister had two who lived in a little shed in the garden. She hadn't talked about them in a while so I asked how they were one day and she said matter-of-factly, "oh, they died." She was three.

Yeah, my little brothers died when the parents seperated. Thought it was kind of creepy at the time. I wonder if there's any connection to trauma of any kind.
