Running on Vegie oil - Legal?

Not sure whether to post here or on the legal forum.

I am converting my pick-up to run on waste vegetable oil. Have done research and have decided it is the way to go.
Not sure what Customs & Excise would do if they dipped the vehicle and found it wasn't running on regular diesel.
Also, I could sell excess Waste oil fuel to friends - small amount.

Anyone know what the legailities are?

Your arent paying the Fuel Duty, so no its not legal. There is no provision here afaik (unlike the UK) for home brew fuels.

Even if you wanted to pay it, I dont think you can.
